1&1/2d Bright Red-Brown, Single Wmk, variety 12L48, FU

Australia KGV 1922, 1&1/2d Bright Red-Brown, Single Watermark, variety 12L48 (diagonal cut through leaflet above 2nd bloom of right wattles) in Fine Used condition with a couple of minor crumples and one short perforation at right. Off-centre to the right with a circular datestamp cancellation (January 1923) well clear of the variety. Varieties from this issue are scarce. Useful dated example!
