Australia KGV 1923, 1&1/2d Green, Single Watermark, variety 12L38, Second State, (Added metal repair to bottom frame near bottom right corner) in Fine Used condition with no faults. Well centered with a circular datestamp cancellation well clear of the variety. The Second State of this unit is presumably a Substituted cliche. Lovely example of an early printing of the Substituted cliche, with later stages showing a progressive linear flaw within the bottom frame near the bottom right corner as the added metal repair begins to wear.
