1&1/2d Red, Single Wmk, 1924-1926

Printed by TS Harrison 1924-26, then by AJ Mullett in 1926. Issued on 1st May 1924.

Printed by TS Harrison 1924-February 1926 using Electros 13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23 and 24. AJ Mullett removed Harrison's gutter imprint from Electros 21,22,23 & 24 and used these "No imprint" plates for his first printing in April 1924. He subsequently developed a method for producing his own plates, and Electros 24A, 25,26, 27,28 & 29 were used by Mullett for his final printings of the 1&1/2d Red DIE 1.
